What Iamp;#39;d like to do today is give a quick demonstration of how to access some hidden resolution settings when you add an external display to a macOS system. So letamp;#39;s jump right in. What you see now is the desktop of my MacBook Pro laptop and I have an external display connected to it. You canamp;#39;t see it of course, cause Iamp;#39;m just recording my desktop but it is there. If I want to make changes to displays on my system, just come down the system preferences and then click on the displays option and by default MacOS will open a window on the internal laptop display and all the external displays connected to it. When Iamp;#39;m looking at the settings for the build and display of the laptop, I have resolution options for default for the display or scaled, which allows me to pick different options to make things look larger or smaller that represent lower and higher resolutions. The displays on the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro have rounded corners at the top. When measured as a standard rectangular shape, the screens are 14.2 inches and 16.2 inches diagonally (actual viewable area is less).

How to exit full screen on a Mac In an apps window, click the green button on the top left. While using an app, press Command + Control + F (on Big Sur and earlier) or Fn + F if your Mac is running macOS Monterey or later. In the apps menu, select View, then choose Exit Full Screen from the drop-down menu.
