Will got a Bacheloramp;#39;s of Science in Environmental Engineering at the University of California, San Diego, a Masteramp;#39;s in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Stanford, and a PhD in Oceanography from Scripps in 2021. He then went to the Advanced Studies program at NCAR for a couple of years as an Advanced ASP Postdoc. And as of this last August, he got promoted to a Project Scientist One at NCAR. His research interests are weather and climate predictability, climate dynamics, air-sea interaction, machine learning and deep learning, numerical weather prediction, and post-processing numerical weather prediction forecasts.
