in this painting I really wanted to increase color saturation and the feeling of golden hour so I played up a big band of light through the lower center of the painting and I really looked closely at the Shadows making sure that they werenamp;#39;t just a dark red orange or brown on the hay bales themselves but influenced by the color of the structure and the lighting in the sky really playing up the red and green complementary colors
