And because massive stars are commonly found in binary pairs orbiting each other, black holes, too, often come in binary partnerships. As these black holes move, they create gravitational waves ripples in the fabric of space-time and these waves carry angular momentum away from the system.
The best evidence of stellar-mass black holes comes from binary star systems in which (1) one star of the pair is not visible, (2) the flickering X-ray emission is characteristic of an accretion disk around a compact object, and (3) the orbit and characteristics of the visible star indicate that the mass of its
Black is 000 and White is 111. The remaining 4 colours are a mix of RGB yellow, 110, light blue = 011 and pink = 101.
But this is because of variety in what happens in their surroundings. The black holes themselves are all identical, except for three characteristic properties: the mass of the black hole (how much stuff it is made of), its spin (whether and how fast it rotates around an axis), and its electric charge.
Once they come so close that they cannot escape each others gravity, they will merge to become one bigger black hole. Such an event would be extremely violent* producing tremendous energy and sending massive ripples across the Universe. These ripples are called gravitational waves.
In the fuzzball model, the hadrons in its core (neutrons and perhaps a smattering of protons and mesons) decompose into what could be regarded as the final stage of degenerate matter: a ball of strings, which the fuzzball model predicts is the true quantum description of not only black holes but theorized quark stars
