So after you open a document that needs to be redacted in the PowerPoint program, navigate to the highlighter function button, select black as the base color in the color card, and box the redacted word, statement, or paragraph by mouse swipe.
Apply Artistic Effects Select the picture. Select Picture Tools Format and select Artistic Effects. Hover over the options to preview them and select the one you want.
With your file open in PowerPoint, go to Redact active presentation and select the second option Redact selected content and press start. A new window will open. Next, select the words that you would like to redact automatically (e.g., client names, employee names, etc.)
When you would like the screen to go black, simply press the B key on your keyboard. If you have a newer version of PowerPoint, this hotkey should make the screen immediately go dark. To return to the presentation, press the B key again.
