What to do if your laser printer only prints full black papers. It could print the first part of the sheet darker because the toner roller is not able to charge enough toner. Lets starting from what is NOT the problem. Its not a fuser problem. Its not a transfer roller problem. Its not the laser scanner. A laser printer with a defective laser scanner prints white pages. The problem probably is related to the corona wire or the charge roller, or the connections between the cartridge and the printer. The primary charge roller, or the corona wire, places a uniform negative electrical voltage on the OPC drum surface. Then the laser strikes the drums surface, leaving a latent electrostatic image on the drum that will attract the toner. But if there is no electrical charge at all, the toner is attracted on the whole surface of the OPC drum, and you have a full black page. Try to cover the contact of the charge roller. what you obtain is a black page. Check the contacts on the toner cart
