2. Use black and white or high-contrast colours. QR codes should be black and white, or use very high-contrast colour pairs.
Model 1 is the original QR Code. The largest version of this code is 14 (73 x 73 modules), which is capable of storing up to 1,167 numerals. Model 2 is an improvement on Model 1 with the largest version being 40 (177 x 177 modules), which is capable of storing up to 7,089 numerals.
When the background is darker than the QR Codes foreground, its called an inverted Code. These types of Codes typically have a dark background such as black, navy or dark grey. While a few scanners can read an inverted Code, some apps are not able to scan them.
Basic unit in QR Code, black indicates 1, white indicates 0.
Well, technically, you cant do that. Creating a QR Code will need you to add some data to it. It could be as low as a couple of alphabets or numbers or as large as landing pages. However, what you can rather do is, create a QR Code with some dummy data first.
Static QR Codes leave you unable to do so, but dynamic QR Codes are editable. You can easily redirect a dynamic QR Code by changing the URL or the content that it leads to.
At its smallest this grid is 21 rows by 21 columns, and at its largest it is 177 rows by 177 columns. In most cases, QR codes use black squares on a white background, making the dots easy to distinguish. However, this is not a strict requirement, and QR codes can use any color or shape for the dots and background.
Do not invert QR Code Colors. We see this mistake a lot. QR codes with a black or dark background and a white or lighter foreground may look great in some design scenarios, but they cant be scanned with all QR Code scanner apps.
