Basic unit in QR Code, black indicates 1, white indicates 0.
You cant deactivate a QR code. It is static, coded data, usually a link to a URL, phone number, or address that your QR app interprets and upon which it can then take the appropriate action.
Show your QR code provided by email or text message at a participating FedEx Ship Centre, Kent Building Supplies, Penguin Pickup, Staples, or Super C retail location near you for a fast and easy return.
You cannot create a blank QR code because its pattern of squares will rely on the data you embed. Without data, there will be no pattern.
When the background is darker than the QR Codes foreground, its called an inverted Code. These types of Codes typically have a dark background such as black, navy or dark grey. While a few scanners can read an inverted Code, some apps are not able to scan them.
But does a QR code must be black and white? Of course not. QR code can be either colorful or recognizable only if it can be detected in binarization. Colorful QR code can not only leave people a deeper impression, but it can also convey more information than standard QR code.
How do you make a barcode unreadable? For a linear barcode (I.E., PARALLEL LINES) just fill in the spaces between a few of the parallel lines in the middle of the code with a black marker. That will render the the barcode undecodable.
QR codes typically need to have a high contrast between the background and the code itself for scanners to read them effectively. The standard is a black code on a white background. However, you can use other dark colours for the code and light colours for the background, as long as the contrast is strong enough.
