so it turns out i have several thousand 150 grain plated 30 caliber flat point bullets look kind of like this and you canamp;#39;t use these for 308 you can just not the way you would want to so i had to find another solution and i the great problem solver in the sky so what i decided to do was put them in 300 blackout however they got some feeding problems with that or so iamp;#39;m told on a ar platform however was able to find a solution after a few test runs that ended up looking like that i found that an oal of exactly two inches on top of 15 grains of imr 4227 powder successfully fed every single time went on the firing line yesterday there was a bit of a sandstorm and i only had 20 rounds but during the sandstorm the 20 rounds all functioned correctly iamp;#39;m going to be doing a ladder of rounds and iamp;#39;ll be doing 13 and 14 and then 16 and 17 as well and check each of those for accuracy and see if i can develop the best load for 150 grain plated soft point on top of
