while working on Blackout I had three main roles in the development of the game working on Mechanics for the puzzles working on the design and layout of the puzzles themselves and working on the sound design and implementation with the composer mechanics start off as sketches and Photoshop in a brief summary of how they would work in game once approved by the rest of the team I would work closely with the programmers the Prototype and tests of different mechanics until they were working as intended the levels would also be sketched out and sent to the other team members for thoughts and approval once approved by the rest of the team I would begin blocking out the room with bsp brushes which would be tested for bugs and player enjoyment by other team members and the students of the school if feedback was positive we placed the final art assets into the scene and added music and visual effects for the final product I work closely with our composers to create an interactive soundscape usi
