okay in this video were gonna go over the outline so before you turn in the final draft of your proposal youre going to turn in an outline to me so that I can review it give you some feedback and it also helps you write the paper so Outlands can be a little controversial some students have had teachers who made them do so many outlines theyre sick of it some people have never done an outline so one of the reasons why we do the outline is just a basic standard of writing is you really should know how to do a proper outline even in work situations you may be asked to outline a meeting or outline a proposal thats coming up or to give your boss an outline of some ideas instead of doing the proper outline its an important skill to have like I said though it is a little controversial because some students dont really enjoy the process but unfortunately I am asking you to do that and you know some students do their outline after they write the paper its just a way of checks and balance
