In the User Guide, under the Operating the Monitor section, see the Using the On-Screen Display (OSD) Menu. Follow the menu computer to find and use the Factory Reset option in the On-Screen Display Menu.
Confirm that your cables are properly connected and securely plugged in. Loose connections can cause intermittent blanking. Outdated drivers can cause compatibility issues and intermittent blanking. Ensure you are on the latest graphics driver for the attached device and dock model.
The Dell laptop black screen issue can be caused by the poor connection between the graphics drivers and the system. In this case, you can reboot your graphics drivers to fix the problem. Press Windows+Ctrl+Shift+B at the same time. Wait patiently to let the restart process complete.
If a monitor does not detect a video signal, it will enter standby mode to reduce power consumption. Check the signal source. Ensure the computer is not in standby or sleep mode by moving the mouse or pressing any key on the keyboard. Check if the video cable is plugged in properly.
Check your cables and connectors. Try using a different video cable and see if it fixes the problem. Try connecting to a different monitor or a TV and see if that fixes the issue. Also, check the connection ports for the video cables and make sure they are clean, free of debris, and not damaged.
Before you do anything, try power cycling your laptop. If the screen is still black, refresh your display connection by pressing Win + Ctrl + Shift + B. Disconnect any connected accessories like mice, keyboards, and other devices in case they are interfering with the display.
Is your Dell computer crashing to a blue screen during use? There are many potential causes for this problem; out-of-date drivers or software, corrupt system files, or faulty hardware are only a few.
