all right so uh weamp;#39;ll first quickly go over an introduction and tell you a little bit what weamp;#39;re talking about so uh my name is Chris kral Iamp;#39;m um the co-founder and chief scientist of last line which is a company that develops bdocHub detection Solutions and anti- malware Solutions but I wear other hats as well and um Iamp;#39;m also professor ucab barabara and you know where Yan and a number of other students together with me and gavan work on interesting research topics and also on binary analysis and vulnerability finding which is what the topic of todayamp;#39;s talk is and uh when we still have a little bit of time Iamp;#39;m also a member of um the shellfish team which is um you know playing in CTF competitions and enjoying binary analysis um in general for fun so Yan Iamp;#39;ll just to let you introduce before we kick it off uh of course Iamp;#39;m Yan um Iamp;#39;m a PhD student at UC Santa Barbara which is an awesome Place everyone should be a PhD
