one of the most important things to consider when flying an aircraft is the weight and balance every aircraft has limitations if the airplaneamp;#39;s too heavy itamp;#39;ll have trouble getting off the ground on a takeoff itamp;#39;ll have trouble stopping when it goes to land and the wings might not be able to create enough lift in order to be able to fly now weamp;#39;ll be discussing weight and how it affects performance in a future episode but in addition to that the aircraft must be balanced properly so you can actually control it and if itamp;#39;s not there are a few problems you could run into before we discuss those I want to explain what it means to have a balanced airplane when discussing this topic most instructors use the illustration of a seesaw or a teeter-totter or whatever you call it what happens when thereamp;#39;s more weight on one side of the Seesaw the Seesaw is no longer balanced but as you know there can also be the same exact amount of weight on both si

Oversized packages are determined by dimensions of the package. Additional handling surcharges may result from weight of the package. FedEx U.S. Ground and Express services apply an oversize charge shipping fee when packages exceed the following dimension: Dimensions with a girth of more than 130 inches.
The length and girth formula is simple. Heres what you do: Measure the length, height, and width of the package. Length and girth equals length plus twice the width and twice the height.
A blackout period in financial markets is when certain company employees are prohibited from buying or selling company shares. Most companies voluntarily impose a blackout period on employees who might have insider information ahead of earnings releases.
Width + Height x 2 For example, if you had a box that measures 20cm x 10cm x 10cm. The calculation would be: 10 + 10 = 20 x 2. The girth would be 40cm.
An oversize charge applies to packages that exceed 96 in length or 130 in length and girth. The charge is based on the packages actual rounded weight or dim weight, whichever is greater. There is a 90-lb. minimum billable weight, except for express international shipments.
How do I determine UPS shipping size? Measure the width of the package, rounding to the nearest inch. Multiply this number by 2. Measure the height of the package, rounding to the nearest inch. Multiply this number by 2. Add these two numbers together. This is your girth.
