all right guys were back with another one its gonna be part two of the day and i was detailing my truck and i was messing around with my emblem over here and it decided to pop off so im gonna go ahead and scrape all this extra residue off of the emblem and the truck itself get this bad boy painted black so we can match the rest of the black accents on the truck were gonna get that taken care of so lets get to it all right guys for the next step for paint prep were going to be sanding down the ford emblem im using a 180 grit to give it some rough edges so my paint can stick to it its a paint primer combo let me go grab got a matte black all-in-one paint and primer fusion im going to be using and 180 grit so you start off with the 180 and go up to about a 320 to a 600 to get a little bit smoother but i would probably stick with around 300 for the max grit because that primer is going to fill in the grooves and the scratches so it will give you a flush a nice finished look to it
