If you have dark circles under your eyes, its probably just a sign of aging, lack of sleep or another common cause. Its usually not caused by a medical problem. But if you have a dark circle or swelling under just one eye, call your healthcare provider.
Dark circles under the eyes happen when the skin beneath both eyes becomes darker than usual. Dark circles under the eyes are usually more noticeable when youre tired. Other lifestyle factors that may contribute to dark circles under the eyes are smoking, drinking too much alcohol and stress.
Dark circles can be a sign of tiredness and a lack of sleep. Some other causes of dark circles under the eyes may include allergies, thyroid conditions, and older age. Dark circles under the eyes may look purple or blue to dark brown or black, depending on skin color.
Most eye floaters are caused by age-related changes that occur as the jelly-like substance (vitreous) inside your eyes liquifies and contracts. Scattered clumps of collagen fibers form within the vitreous and can cast tiny shadows on your retina. The shadows you see are called floaters.
Black circles represent the end of one phase and the start of another. They are a void or a hole, symbolizing empty space that is ready to be refilled with purpose and meaningful action.
Behind the anterior chamber is the eyes iris (the colored part of the eye) and the dark hole in the middle called the pupil. Muscles in the iris dilate (widen) or constrict (narrow) the pupil to control the amount of light docHubing the back of the eye. Directly behind the pupil sits the lens.
Floaters usually happen because of normal changes in your eyes. As you age, tiny strands of your vitreous (the gel-like fluid that fills your eye) stick together and cast shadows on your retina (the light-sensitive layer of tissue at the back of the eye). Those shadows appear as floaters.
