In this video we will see how to create a custom field within Lockbox. On record pages such as this sample record you can see a variety of fields which contain information and data such as the sampleamp;#39;s name, its unique ID, and the date it was collected. These fields were configured for this demonstration but they are completely customizable. Meaning Lockbox can configure any and all of these fields to fit your labamp;#39;s processes. For example if quality control checks are essential in your lab you may want a field that confirms whether a sample has passed a quality control assessment. I can create this custom field and add it to this record page. I will start by clicking setup then edit object. This takes us to the object manager where we will edit the object sample. Using disabled option When the disabled option is added to the input tag, the checkbox is essentially disabled so you can view the checkbox but cannot interact with it.
Checkboxes are created with the HTML tag. It can be nested inside a element or they can stand alone.
The disabled property sets or returns whether a checkbox should be disabled, or not. A disabled element is unusable and un-clickable. Disabled elements are usually rendered in gray by default in browsers. This property reflects the HTML disabled attribute.
To disable a checkbox, use the disabled attribute in the tag.
Using disabled option When the disabled option is added to the input tag, the checkbox is essentially disabled so you can view the checkbox but cannot interact with it. You can also use the checked option and get the read-only checkbox which is already checked but cannot be unchecked.
