here we have a 2019 MacBook Pro 16 inch that came in for for what letamp;#39;s read what the customer wrote power is on no display simple customer Road powers on no display that tells us everything and this one is model number a2141 Board number eight to zero zero one seven zero zero so it came in for no display we already removed the back cover as you see here and you can already tell the fans are spinning we have spinning fans and the board is warm if you look at the screen here youamp;#39;re not going to be able to see an image but I do I do see an image the image is very dim right over here right over here that tells us that we do have an image but we have a problem with the backlight we have a problem with the backlight circuit it could be one of the two things or maybe one of the three things it could be an LCD problem it could be the flux gate that connects the LCD to the motherboard or it could be a motherboard issue so weamp;#39;re gonna have to investigate and see which on

To put your Mac to sleep, do any of the following: Choose Apple menu Sleep. On a Mac laptop, close the display.
On your Mac, choose Apple menu System Settings, then click Energy Saver in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.) Do any of the following: Stop automatic sleeping when the display is off: Turn on Prevent automatic sleeping when the display is off.
Unplug any devices that are connected to your computer, except the power adapter. Hold down the Command and Control keys while you press the power button to restart the computer. Let the battery charge to at least 10 percent before plugging in any external devices and resuming your work.
Reset System Management Controller settings Resetting the SMC is another possible quick fix to resolve a black screen on MacBook Pro. Turn of your MacBook and unplug it for at least 15 seconds before plugging in again. Then, with the power still off, hold down Shift + Option + Control + the power button all together.
