Have you ever needed to save the contents of an emailed Zip file into iManage? We have now added a new feature in Kappris to allow users to save the contents of an emailed Zip file into iManage as a new document or new version.
Press and hold (or right-click) the file or folder, select (or point to) Send to, and then select Compressed (zipped) folder. A new zipped folder with the same name is created in the same location. To rename it, press and hold (or right-click) the folder, select Rename, and then type the new name.
Right-click the file or selection of files, and select Add to zip. Right-click the resulting archive and select Rename. Change the last three letters to a file extension not blocked by the attachment filter (for example, txt ), or remove the extension altogether.
To zip (compress) a file or folder Locate the file or folder that you want to zip. Press and hold (or right-click) the file or folder, select (or point to) Send to, and then select Compressed (zipped) folder. A new zipped folder with the same name is created in the same location.

How to Change File Extension in Windows 10 Open Windows File Explorer. Click the View tab. Tick the File name extensions option. Now you can see the file extension of all your files. Find the file that you would like to change the file extension, right-click the file, choose rename, and enter the new file extension.
You can also do it by right-clicking on the unopened file and clicking on the Rename option. Simply change the extension to whatever file format you want and your computer will do the conversion work for you.
You cant, with normal tools, rename a file while its in the ZIP archive. Best you can do is to rename files as you extract them.
