To edit a hyperlink, click anywhere in the link text and then open the Hyperlink dialog box by clicking the Hyperlink icon on the Standard toolbar or choosing Edit Hyperlink from the menu bar. Make your changes and click Apply.
You can also right-click the text or picture and click Link on the shortcut menu. In the Insert Hyperlink box, type or paste your link in the Address box. Note: If you dont see the Address box, make sure Existing File or Web Page is selected under Link to.

For most purposes generating the ToC by using /Insert /Indexes and Tables and making the correct selections is the best path to follow. On that window, press the Entries tab. Place cursor in the leftmost white box and press Hyperlink button.
