hello everybody Im Seth Weissman and welcome to another episode of safe real estate a question that gets asked more frequently than you would think is is a contract still valid if the binding agreement date has not been filled in my well-educated answer is I dont know we dont have a case on it but what I would tell you is courts try hard to find a contract to be valid and enforceable they are reluctant to throw contracts out and say we are just not going to enforce a contract so my guess is if a contract ended up in front of the judge where there was no binding agreement date I think the court would try very hard to enforce it if at all possible but if the binding agreement date has not been filled in I would also say shame on the agents and shame on the parties because every single time clock in the contract is measured from The Binding agreement day and youre setting yourself up for one problem after another if for some reason the binding agreement date is left blank so if there
