Open the form and Navigate to Help Diagnostic Trace. Here you have many options available (default is No Trace). You can enable tracing by selecting on of the options from here. Regular Trace gives the least information and Trace with Binds and Waits (level 12) gives maximum information.
To start tracing a session from Fusion Middleware Control: From the Forms menu, select User Sessions. Select the row containing the Forms user session for which you want to enable tracing. Click Enable Tracing. From the Select Trace Group list, select an available trace group and click OK.
Go to System Administrator responsibility. Navigate to Profiles System. Query Profile Option Concurrent: Allow Debugging. Set the value for Concurrent: Allow Debugging profile to Yes.
To enable and disable tracing for a session: Start SQL*Plus, and then log in to the database with the administrator privileges. Determine the session ID and serial number values for the session to trace. Use the values from the preceding step to enable tracing for a specific session. Disable tracing for the session.
Bind parameters allow you to separate the query logic from literal values used in the query and safely use user-provided input for these placeholders.
Check for Tracing Enabled sqltraceShows (TRUE/FALSE) if SQL tracing has been enabled in the session. sqltracewaitsIf session tracing is enabled, you can have the trace write wait information to the trace file; very useful in diagnosing performance issues.
Oracle JDBC driver tracing configuration Ensure you are using the debug version of the Oracle JDBC driver, which is the version ending with g . Enable the oracle. Activate the debug library by setting the following JVM argument on the application server: -Doracle.jdbc.Trace=true.
From the Forms menu, select User Sessions. The User Sessions page appears. Select the row containing the Forms user session for which you want to enable tracing. Click Enable Tracing.
