hello everyone Iamp;#39;m Clemens pang co-founder and chief architect of wavefront and Iamp;#39;m here to talk to you about tagging your data now you might have noticed that as you send data into wavefront you have to name your data with a metric name a host and obviously the value that you are sending to us but you might have noticed when you use our AWS integration for example that the data comes in with additional dimensions that we collect on your behalf for example if youamp;#39;re pooling ec2 CPU information it would likely have the region that the data is coming in in this particular example letamp;#39;s say it is from coming from uswest 2 which is Oregon and perhaps it would have the instance name itself or the instance type now all of this information we have pulled from your AWS environment and we have additional dimensions that we have attached to the metric when it is emitted into wavefront now you can do the same to your data for example if youamp;#39;re using
