But if you start it with your own table, you will go to Insert, Table and then select how many columns and how many rows. If you keep going down it will just add more. All right, so its already inserted. And if we scroll down, we see its long enough to go over several pages and thats on purpose because theres a new option now to repeat the row headers and well start with that. So the current problem that we have, right? So this says now 1963. Is that the date the jockey won his first race? Is it the date he was born? I dont know. Well see. So what we can do is come up to the top. In this case, we have one row that we want to repeat. So in order to get a lot of these controls what you can do is right click anywhere in the table or wont scroll down a little bit on the menu an

Tap or highlight the two or more cells that you want to merge. After selecting cells, a new toolbar will appear at the bottom of your display. There is a Merge icon next to the text alignment tools and next to the bucket fill button. Tapping this icon will merge all cells that you have selected.
How to Format Table Borders and Shading in Google Docs Click inside the table you want to format. Click Format on the menu bar. Select Table. Select Table properties. Click the Table border color button. Select a border color. Click the Table border width button. Select a border width.
