omg you can have drop-down menus in google docs right now and thatamp;#39;s just the tip of the iceberg these editions primarily relate to the google docs smart chips menu that pops up when you type in an at symbol well it now features a boatload of goodies many of them are just quick access to things that we already had access to within the regular toolbar menus but some surprises popped up recently first letamp;#39;s run through all of the awesome stuff thatamp;#39;s in there first we have people which lets you tag people in your doc next building blocks which lets you insert templates that google provides for things like meeting notes and email drafts and other things next files which lets you add little links to google drive files next up checklists numbered lists and bulleted lists then we have images drawings and charts and those drawings are google drawings by the way next is dates which to be honest i donamp;#39;t see a whole lot of use in but oh well itamp;#39;s there may

In your document, with your mouse select the text to which you want to apply the style. For a main heading, click Heading 1. For a subheading click Heading 2, and so on. You do not need to apply a style to text that is not a heading (i.e. a paragraph).
Copy the entire URL using ctrl+c on your keyboard. In the document containing the link, either go to InsertLink at the top or press ctrl+k on your keyboard. Then, paste the URL that you previously copied using ctrl+v on your keyboard. Click Apply and it should work!
