[Music] well im gonna do something a little different today i i dont usually feel led or inspired to comment on popular culture uh the word of god is so rich theres just so much there but i want to comment on a movie a book thats really been very popular over the last 50 years willy wonka and the chocolate factory so way back in 1964 raw dahl wrote a book about willy wonka and the chocolate factory it was made into a movie in 1971 with gene wilder as willy wonka and thats the version that id like to comment on theres been other versions since which i havent seen and uh from past experience of some of the directors and actors im not sure i would like to theres another big production of willy wonka being prepared right now i think in england thats going to come out in a year or two and i have no idea whether thats going to be edifying or not so im not particularly recommending that you read the book im not particularly recommending that you see the 1971 movie with uh gene
