e drawings is a great tool for non-solidworks users to collaborate with design teams the ability to markup and measure an e-drawing is extremely useful but whatamp;#39;s the best way to communicate the markups back to the design team you could mark up the drawing save it and return the e-drawing file back to the design team or you could mark up the e-drawing print it off and return a paper copy back to the design team my preference however is to mark up the e drawing and just save the markups then import them into solidworks drawings weamp;#39;ll save it away on our system moving into solidworks weamp;#39;ll go to insert a drawings markup and select the e-drawings markup that we just saved as you can see this brings the drawings markups into our solidworks drawing file and we can make the required changes to the drawing once we are happy weamp;#39;ve made the changes we can either delete the drawings markup from the solidworks drawing or alternatively we can just hide away
