all right yeah i got a new microphone hello everyone welcome to another video so far in the channel we have covered a couple of videos about how we could create custom views in swift ui however those views are yours static views i mean thereamp;#39;s no interaction with the user and in real application of course we need inputs from the user and we need to transform that input into something that the user requires right so any information you know maps table views et cetera so letamp;#39;s start talking about state management insuffie because itamp;#39;s one of the most important topics if you want to learn and use swift letamp;#39;s then start with two concepts in this video weamp;#39;re gonna start looking the life cycle how we actually could reflect changes in our views depending on the input of the user and the second one letamp;#39;s start about one of the property wrappers thatamp;#39;ll help us to reflect those changes in this case we are talking about state yeah literally

@State and @Binding are property wrappers used for managing and synchronizing the state of views and data across different components. @State : SwiftUI automatically manages the state and updates the view whenever the @State property changes.
This is the fundamental idea behind data binding in React. The two ingredients are: A controlled field that locks the input to a piece of React state. An onChange handler that updates the state variable when the user edits the input.
You do this by calling useState, which returns a pair: the current state value and a function that lets you update it. Next, bind this state variable to your input fields value attribute. This binding ensures that the input fields value is always in sync with our components state.
How to Set defaultValue in react-select. You can pass the defaultValue prop to the Select component to set a default value in react-select. This prop should match one of the objects in your options array.
This is particularly useful in scenarios where you have nested views or components, and you want to ensure that they all reflect the same piece of data. By using @Binding, youre not duplicating the data but referencing the same source of truth, ensuring consistency across your app.
To set a useState variable in React, you need to call the useState hook and pass in the initial value you want to assign to that variable. In the example above, useState(0) initializes the count variable to 0 . The setCount function returned by useState can be used to update the value of count .
One of the important aspects is how it binds data with the UI components. Data binding in React can be done through declared variables, props and state. It gives us the flexibility to synchronize both the data as well as UI.
