so somebody asked about the physiologic blind spot and how come we dont recognize it well under binocular viewing conditions the blind spot so that if this was a 24 or 30 degree field you know that the blind spot represents the optic nerve because the optic nerve has no photoreceptors on its on the optic nerve it actually cannot see anything so the retina can see but the optic nerve cannot the blind spot in your visual field in the humphrey visual field is represented by that optic nerve head and so the size of that blind spot corresponds with the size of your optic nerve head its an absolute scotoma because theres no retinal photoreceptors there however under binocular conditions the blind spot is actually covered up by the fellow eye so you dont you dont notice it under binocular viewing conditions but even if you cover one eye you put a patch over here you still cant see this now you can prove to yourself that you have the blind spot by taking a pencil and you can just run it

A business blind spot is basically the lack of knowledge or understanding of some aspect of the business. A blind spot can exist by way of a leader creating the blind spot for others who are involved in the business in some way.
blind spot, small portion of the visual field of each eye that corresponds to the position of the optic disk (also known as the optic nerve head) within the retina. There are no photoreceptors (i.e., rods or cones) in the optic disk, and, therefore, there is no image detection in this area.
These are: Going it alone (being afraid to ask for help) Being insensitive of your behavior on others (being unaware of how you show up) Having an I know attitude (valuing being right above everything else)
These blind spot areas include: directly in front, directly behind and along each sideespecially on the right side.
The point where your optic nerves converge to exit the eye and into the brain is known as the optic disc. This area of the eye has no light-sensitive cells to detect light rays. This results in a break in the visual field known as your blind spot.
A blind spot is an area in your range of vision that you cannot see properly but which you really should be able to see. For example, when you are driving a car, the area just behind your shoulders is often a blind spot.
What causes a blind spot? Everyone has a normal blind spot thats about as big as a pinhead. In this spot, the optic nerve passes through the retina, where there are no photoreceptors there to detect light. No light-detecting cells means the eye cant send signals to the brain.
The top 10 blind-spots ing to the article: Going it alone (being afraid to ask for help) Being insensitive of your behavior on others (being unaware of how you show up) Having an I know attitude (valuing being right above everything else) Avoiding the difficult conversations (conflict avoidance)
A blind spot in diversity and inclusion is a lack of awareness or prejudice. When enacted into policy, these blind spots become a form of discrimination. One example is workplace policies affecting black hair, a blind spot that became a civil rights issue.
The optic disc (optic nerve head) is the location where ganglion cell axons exit the eye to form the optic nerve. There are no light sensitive rods or cones to respond to a light stimulus at this point. This causes a break in the visual field called the blind spot or the physiological blind spot.
