How do I change the default page size? Choose File New Text Document. Choose Format Page. In the dialog box, choose the Page tab. On the page tab, select a page size from the drop-down box. Click OK . Choose File Templates Save.
You can change the page aspect in Impress from Format Page Page Height, Width. The default is 11.02 x 8.27 (28 x 21 cm), which is a 4:3 width:height aspect. The actual width and height dont matter so much as the aspect: the width compared to the height.
Select / View / Styles and Formatting (or press F11). Press the 4th icon from left on its top bar and select Applied Styles from the dropdown on the bottom bar. This now shows you the page Styles in use. Right click on Default, select Modify and then page tab and change the selected page size to 6x9.
