MOBI (short for Mobipocket) is a proprietary format primarily used on Amazons Kindle devices and applications, but can also be read on other e-readers and mobile devices. MOBI files are designed to be fixed-layout, and can display both reflowable content and fixed width layout.
PDF is versatile but not always optimized for e-readers. EPUB is widely compatible and adjustable to various screen sizes, ideal for most e-readers and mobile devices. MOBI is specifically for Kindle devices. Consider your audiences preferences and the platforms youll distribute on.
