The Document Inspector is the tool that detects and removes private or confidential information from a document.
Try it! Open the document that you want to inspect for hidden data and personal information. Select File Info. Select Check for Issues Inspect Document. Select the types of content that you want to inspect, and then select Inspect. Review the results.
Find and remove hidden data and personal information In the copy of your original presentation, on the File tab, select Info. Select Check for Issues, and choose Inspect Document.
Use the Document Inspector to Remove Hidden Data To open the Document Inspector, click File Info Check for Issues Inspect Document. The Excel Document Inspection window shown below opens up. Click Inspect to identify hidden content, and then click Remove All to remove the item of your choice.
To detect and remove hidden data, click File Info Check for Issues Inspect Document. When the Document Inspection window opens, select an item for inspection that contains information you do not want to distribute, and click Inspect. A window opens for you to review the inspection results.
Click Inspect Document. Click Inspect. The Document Inspector will scan your file for personal information. Click Remove All if Document Inspector finds personal information in your file. Now click Close then save your document.
