hi folks iamp;#39;m going to be showing you how to make knitting patterns in excel itamp;#39;s much easier and faster than using graph paper um these steps are for the intermediate to advanced knitter with basic keyboard and computer proficiencies iamp;#39;m going to be showing you this on a macbook air with excel version 16.55 although no excel experience is necessary all right our first step is going to be opening up excel and opening up a blank workbook then the first thing that we need to do is to make all of our cells perfect squares so that we have a perfect grid to work with and so in order to do that weamp;#39;re going to hit the select all button over here in the corner and that highlights all of ourselves so then next youamp;#39;ll hit next click next to column a and hold and drag until you get to it equal 20 pixels perfect and then on row one youamp;#39;ll do the same thing hold and drag until it equals 20 pixels and since we had all the cells selected that adjusted ev
