[Music] are you welcome to Madison total nerd Rochelle today I will show you how to encrypt a folder or file or folder it will be a folder so that you need to open it with a password which is nice also if you happen to forget your password just so you know there is no password reset function or something like this so remember what pass your password you put in because otherwise the file is basically lost alright so here we have a top secret file so lets open that up you see here we have a nice top secret file with secret documents and stuff so what we do is we open 7-zip if you dont have 7-zip you need to install 7-zip but its useful because you needed to open drawer files and other types of the compressed files you can also right click the file and archive sent to archive but I removed a feature from my computers you can just open the 7-zip take the folder you want to encrypt throw it in here and then you get this option to make an archive now you might want to select this to zip
