hello and welcome um so this short video will show you how to do the alternating cable bind off that is part of the pattern for the starry night cowl and again this is all this whole pattern has been worked in a twisted rib with short rows and so to bind off um weamp;#39;re using this technique called the alternating cable bind off and that allows you to almost make it seem like thereamp;#39;s no bound off edge so you can see that on the swatch i did a cable cast on and it gives you this nice little kind of twist um and it really carries through that twisted rib but and iamp;#39;ll pull over the sample of the cowl really quickly so that you can see what the alternating cable bind off looks like when youamp;#39;re done with it so here again again it doesnamp;#39;t quite give the same exact twist but it almost makes it look as if the uh ribbing has just kind of faded off and stopped like so youamp;#39;re youamp;#39;re left with a really clean edge there isnamp;#39;t a disruptive
