okay so weamp;#39;re ready to trim it and the way that i have been trimming quilts for as long as i can remember iamp;#39;ve always left a little bit extra around the quilt top and what i mean by that is when you look at the quilt top the end of where the quilt top is is right there and thatamp;#39;s why i told you i always overlap just a little bit for when i trim i mark a quarter of an inch away from the from the edge of the quilt i just put my ruler in there and then so what i do and so then you can see that the distance that i just put a quarter of an inch all the way around the whole thing thatamp;#39;s what i leave and that fills in the batting really nicely iamp;#39;ve talked about that in a couple of other videos that iamp;#39;ve done but this is how i always do them to get ready for for binding so iamp;#39;ll show a close-up and so that space right there is just the batting and then iamp;#39;m gonna attach it and fold it over and then this part is gonna fill up
