Set Specific Margins Open the report template you want to modify. Click File and choose Page Setup to open the Page Setup dialog box. Adjust the page margin settings to the desired size, then click OK.
Change Paper Size of SAP Crystal Layouts Locate the Crystal layout in SAP Report and Layout Manager. In Crystal Report Designer, choose: File Page Setup. Check No Printer and Dissociate Formatting Page Size and Printer Paper Size options, then choose Letter as the paper size. Save the report to local hard drive.
Since perfect bound books are glued at the spine, it makes it harder to see or read content near the binding side (see the image below). To help avoid this, we recommend you have a 3/8 (0.375) margin on the binding side of all pages, including inside cover pages.
A binding margin is the vertical space without any text, on each page, used for stitching, drilling or whatever method is used to hold the pages together. The binding margin is measured in characters or braille cells on an embosser, or in inches or millimeters on a printer.
Create a custom margin Select Layout Margins. Select Custom Margins. In Margins, use the Up and Down arrows to enter the values you want.
Gutter margins add additional space to extend the regular margins to provide a buffer for the space that will be consumed by binding. This will prevent the page content from becoming hidden after binding.
If you use Crystal Reports to design your report, Page size and Margins can be edited by Page Setup. Right Click on your report select Page Setup.
To set the printer page page size to a custom page size: Click Start Settings Printers. Click File Server Properties. Click the Forms tab then select the Create a New Form check box. Set the Form description for: to: Set the Paper Size ing to your requirement. Click the Save Form button.
