okay letamp;#39;s say you have a previously printed book that you want to convert to an Epub file and you want the Epub file to actually generate the table of contents well here are a few quick tips that you can do to help you on your way letamp;#39;s begin the first thing you want to do is you want to make sure that you have the actual cover of your book on the first page of what will be your Epub file for example in this particular example we have this image here we replaced the black and white title page with the actual cover image and then the last thing you want to do as far as pages are concerned if you have letamp;#39;s say a blank page at the back of your book because typically your your page one is on the right hand side and then of course the uh the back will be a left hand page so if you have something like that on your printed piece you want to delete that back page so you can go to your page palette click on that page and just delete it so now all you have is live conte

The EPUB format is the most widely supported e-book format, supported by most e-book readers except Amazon Kindle devices. Most e-book readers also support the PDF and plain text formats. E-book software can be used to convert e-books from one format to another, as well as to create, edit and publish e-books.
Unlike with print books, where the margin is bigger on the left or right-hand side of the page depending on which is nearest the spine, eBook margins should be the same on both sides of every page. We generally recommend that you use . 5 all around.
ePub Reader Setup - Margin. The default margin is Medium. If you are familiar with HTML and CSS, then you should know that any valid margin-left or margin-right value can be used here. Note: This setting is applied at the top level eBook element and acts as a default setting.
The inside edge margin sizes differ depending on your binding type: Paperback Book Printing: 18mm on the binding edge. 15mm on the other edges. Hardback Book Printing: 19mm on the top and bottom edge, 18mm for the binding edge and 15mm for the outside edge.

A Word about Standard Page Margins However, most printed books fall somewhere between 5.5 x 8.5 and 8.5 x 11. These books will generally have margins in the . 5 to 1 range, with the margins becoming increasingly larger as the book dimensions increase.
