all right guys in my second video itamp;#39;s going to be name log iamp;#39;m going to show you start to finish uh how i take care of my log how i lay out the name how i carve it finish it up so stay tuned this oneamp;#39;s gonna be cool all right you can see that the log is cut itamp;#39;s fairly flat i got a little bit of uh cross cutting here from just the big saw going through but if you saw i used a little chainsaw just ran across to kind of take some of the high spots off use it as a planer a chainsaw blade is a planer it works pretty good so iamp;#39;m going to lay the lettering out and thatamp;#39;ll be time lapse also uh for my name logs this is my saw of choice for doing my lettering uh just a steel ms-170 with a steel dime tip i believe itamp;#39;s a 10 inch carving bar uh the chainamp;#39;s got a little wider curve so i can take a little more wood out then save my um my 150 my samara japanese carving bar with a really narrow kerf narrow width to the chain bl
