The Error address already in use occurred because some process was already running on the same port. So we can resolve the issue just by killing the process. To stop the process, we need the process ID (PID), which we can fetch using the lsof command.
If youre seeing a TCP/UDP: Socket bind failed on local address error message in the OpenVPN log, it means your VPN connection is configured to bind to a fixed local address and/or port number, and that this address/port number is unavailable.
Socket functions in case of error will always return -1 , for the actual error code you should check the errno variable (so strerror(errno)) etc.). So this is likely the culprit of the bind() failing - if theres no network inerface in the system to work with, bind() will fail.
These bindings describe everything thats needed to create an instance of Application , including, by default, a router generated by the routes compiler that has your controllers injected into the constructor. These bindings can then be translated to work in Guice and other runtime DI frameworks.
For the Bind to be successful, the full and correct Distinguished Name (DN) or Searching User UPN must appear in the DN of Searching User text box. If the values are incomplete or incorrect, the Bind request fails and you see the LDAP binding not successful message in your log files.
Failed to bind in a server log typically means that the server process was unable to bind to a specified IP address and port number. This can occur for various reasons such as: The IP address and/or port number is already in use by another process.
