To correct an error in a logbook, draw a single line through the mistake and indicate what was adjusted. Please, no whiteout and no Sharpie. Often you will find initials next to a correction as well, to show who made the change.
Handling errors: If you make a mistake in your logbook (and you will at some point), simply draw one line through the mistake so it is clear to the reader what adjustment was made. No scribbling. No white-out.

Each logged entry should be in pen, with every page signed. Make sure each completed page is also totaled and signed in pen. If you can, using the same type of pen for every entry will give each page a clean, uniform look. Do not use a pencil.
Furthermore, dont use a pencil! A pencil is not an accepted method of logbook entry, and all signatures must be in pen.
