You can also add metadata to your images directly from Windows. In File Explorer, right click the file and go to the properties. Click on the Details tab and add your Metadata.
A JPEG file also has a lot of metadata in each file containing auxiliary information about the image. On an average, this kind of metadata occupies 16% of size of the JPEG file.
Right-click the file and select Get Info from the drop-down menu. The Info window contains six expandable tabs. The second is More Info, and here is where youll find the files metadata.
Extract text from an image by converting it into a PDF By first converting an image into a PDF file, you can copy text from it pretty easily in some cases. Pick an appropriate image to PDF converter from docHub online - e.g. the JPG to PDF converter (supported image file types include JPG, PNG, BMP, and more).
Image metadata can also be stored in a file separate from the main image file. This type of file is often called a sidecar file and must accompany the image file to ensure that the metadata is available to the image when needed. Sidecar files commonly use XMP to format the metadata.
The embedding process proceeds by replacing the gray value of the central pixel by one of the values in the range. This guarantees that the changes be imperceptible. The data to be embedded is treated as a binary stream and is partitioned into a number of sub-streams.
Metadata can be stored in either human-readable or binary form. Storing metadata in a human-readable format such as XML can be useful because users can understand and edit it without specialized tools.
