Embed an index Open the file and select Advanced Processing Process Index. To create an embedded index for the active PDF document, click Create. To insert a TOC in Acrobat DC: Create a TOC in Word. Save that as a PDF. Insert the TOC page into your PDF. Right-click on the page number in the TOC and select CREATE LINK. Change LINK TYPE to INVISIBLE RECTANGLE. For LINK ACTION, select GO TO A PAGE VIEW. Click NEXT.
Using docHub, open a PDF document to add hyperlinks. Choose Tools Edit PDF Link Add/Edit Web or Document Link and then drag the rectangle to where you want to create the link. Next, in the Create Link dialogue box, adjust the link appearance and select Open a Web Page for the link action.
