In this video, we will demonstrate our automated self-service enrollment process at NISTs IAL2/AAL2 standard for a new user creating an account using ID.me. We have designed the customer experience to minimize the level of effort required by the end- user to verify their identity. The five easy steps to set up an ID.me account typically only take a few minutes. All the user will need is an accessible email account and a mobile phone that can take photos. Theyamp;#39;ll also need to take a selfie and upload a picture of a government-issued ID. New users will see the option to either sign in using ID.me or create an account with ID.me. For this demonstration, we will assume the user doesnamp;#39;t have an existing account. First Users will need to enter their email address. Next, theyamp;#39;ll click a link in the email to confirm their ownership of the email address. In ance with NIST 800-63B, users will set up multi-factor authentication to ensure that all their information stays s

To use bind variables, put one or more placeholders in the text of the SQL statement, then specify the variable (the value to be used) for each placeholder.

Bind parametersalso called dynamic parameters or bind variablesare an alternative way to pass data to the database. Instead of putting the values directly into the SQL statement, you just use a placeholder like ? , :name or @name and provide the actual values using a separate API call.
The first benefit of binding variables is that Oracle will only need to parse the query once, regardless of how many times it is executed with different values. This change in a scripts methodology can be a tremendous performance booster.
Use a bind variable in PL/SQL to access the variable from SQL*Plus. Bind variables are variables you create in SQL*Plus and then reference in PL/SQL. If you create a bind variable in SQL*Plus, you can use the variable as you would a declared variable in your PL/SQL subprogram and then access the variable from SQL*Plus. When using bind variables, Oracle Database may be able to reuse the statement execution plan and context. Bind variables can be used to substitute data, but cannot be used to substitute the text of the statement. You cannot, for example, use a bind variable where a column name or a table name is required.
