A Public IP address associated with an instance is not static and is lost when the instance is stopped, whereas an Elastic IP address is a static public address associated with your AWS account.
There are two types of managed policies: AWS managed policies – Managed policies that are created and managed by AWS. Customer managed policies – Managed policies that you create and manage in your AWS account.
An Elastic IP address is a reserved public IP address that you can assign to any EC2 instance in a particular region, until you choose to release it. To allocate an Elastic IP address to your account in a particular Region, see Allocate an Elastic IP address.
A Bind Mount is a storage area (file/directory) on your local machine available inside your container. So any changes you make to this storage space (file/directory) from the outside container will be reflected inside the docker container and vice-versa.
To assign permissions to a role or resource, create a policy, which is a JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) document that defines permissions. This document includes permissions statements that grant or deny access to specific service actions, resources, and conditions.
An Elastic IP address is allocated to your AWS account, and is yours until you release it. By using an Elastic IP address, you can mask the failure of an instance or software by rapidly remapping the address to another instance in your account.
Bind mounts have been around since the early days of Docker. Bind mounts have limited functionality compared to volumes. When you use a bind mount, a file or directory on the host machine is mounted into a container. The file or directory is referenced by its absolute path on the host machine.
By default, when you create a permission set, the permission set isn't provisioned (used in any AWS accounts). To provision a permission set in an AWS account, you must assign IAM Identity Center access to users and groups in the account, and then apply the permission set to those users and groups.
An Elastic IP address is a static public IPv4 address associated with your AWS account in a specific Region. Unlike an auto-assigned public IP address, an Elastic IP address is preserved after you stop and start your instance in a virtual private cloud (VPC).
The advantage of associating the Elastic IP address with the network interface instead of directly with the instance is that you can move all the attributes of the network interface from one instance to another in a single step.
