hey everybody this is Mike groer in this tip of the week I want to show you the correct way to add a footer to your presentation in PowerPoint so a footer could be anything from a confidentiality label to your companyamp;#39;s name your own name any type of text that you want to show uh at the bottom of a slide and especially on every slide in your presentation so thatamp;#39;s the main difference here uh in what I want to show you as Iamp;#39;ve talked before in some of the previous videos in the playlist when you want to make a change to just one slide you do that in normal View and thatamp;#39;s what Iamp;#39;m in right now thatamp;#39;s kind of what youamp;#39;re used to seeing when you first open up PowerPoint if you look up in view itamp;#39;s in normal and this is where we edit our slides where we add the content where we add pictures and text we do that in normal view because weamp;#39;re changing one slide at a time if I want to change multiple slides at a time though

Yes you can, using the Restrict Editing feature. Create the header and footer for the document. On the Review tab click on Restrict Editing.
