in todayamp;#39;s video iamp;#39;m going to show you how to use custom fonts with figma so hereamp;#39;s everything you need to know about custom fonts firstly whether youamp;#39;re using the desktop app of figma or youamp;#39;re using it in the browser you have access to googleamp;#39;s web fonts so you have a large library of fonts to choose from but of course that library doesnamp;#39;t have every font there is a lot of fonts out there on various different websites today i want to clash display from font share of course this is not a google font so itamp;#39;s not in figma currently so hereamp;#39;s how you can use these custom fonts so the first and easiest way to use a custom font is if youamp;#39;re using the desktop app simply just download the font and it on your machine so here in my font book you can see i now have clash display downloaded so now if i select my font go to my drop down and there you can see i have clash display to choose from secondly if youamp;#39;

Open the file you want to embed fonts in. On the application (PowerPoint or Word) menu, select Preferences. In the dialog box, under Output and Sharing, select Save. Under Font Embedding, select Embed fonts in the file.
Press Ctrl + on your keyboard to zoom in or increase font size. Press Ctrl - on your keyboard to zoom out or decrease font size. Press Ctrl 0 on your keyboard to go back to the default size.
There are four permissions of font embeddability installable, editable, print/preview and restricted. Installable - Allows fonts to be embedded in the document and installed permanently in the computer. Editable - Allows fonts to be embedded in the document but only installs fonts temporarily in the system.
You can add fonts from other foundries and font services to Cargos font menu by uploading or embedding them. Start by opening the Text Styles menu (in the right menu bar) and choosing a text style to associate your new font with. You can also duplicate an existing text style, or create a new one.
Font creators can set different options for their fonts, including: Non-embeddable, Preview/Print, Editable, and Installable. To see what level of embedding your installed font is, go to Control Panel in Windows and click Fonts. Clicking on the font shows the Font embeddability setting.
In the Library in Motion, click the Fonts category, then click a font subcategory. Drag a font from the Library stack onto the existing text in the canvas. As you drag the font over the text, a transparent thumbnail of the font appears and the pointer becomes a green add pointer (+).
On the PowerPoint application menu, click Preferences. Under Output and Sharing, click Save. Under Font Embedding, clear the Embed fonts in the file check box. Save the file, then close and re-open it.
Click File Info Manage Embedded Fonts. Under License Restrictions and Embed Font, check the font license details. If the license restriction says May embed, the font can be embedded.
