Hi, this is Patrick from Gettysburg Flag Works! I want to talk to you today about adding a flagpole clip or snap to your halyard or flagpole rope. Theres no fancy knots or anything special needed. Its really simple, and Im going to show you guys how to do it. Alright guys, so what we have here is a standard brass flagpole clip. We have these in plastic or stainless steel which work nice near the ocean, but this is your standard go-to clip. It has an eyelet on one end and a clip on the other which slides back to go through the flag grommet. You take your flagpole halyard, or rope, pinch the end together like this, feed it through the eyelet. Youre going to pull it and slide it over the top of your clip, and its going to hold it in position, like such. No fancy knot, nothing else needed. You can add a flag to any rope thats already up by doing this. So, you figure out where the second set needs to go, you attach it to the flag, and the flag is up and flying. For more information ab
