Bound control A control whose source of data is a field in a table or query is called a bound control. You use bound controls to display values that come from fields in your database.
Bound Or Unbound Control: Controls could be computed, bound, or unbound: Control over the bounds a bound control has a field in a database or query as its data source. Unbound controls are controls that dont have include data sources (such as a field or expression).
On the Value tab, click Choose Field, point to a field set, and then click the field to which you want to bind the control. If you would like to bind the control to a new field that you create, click New. In the Field box, type the name of your new field in the Name: area. Click OK in the New Field box.
In general, @bind associates the current value of an expression with the value attribute of the and handles changes using the registered handler. Bind a property or field on other DOM events by including an @bind:event={EVENT} attribute with a DOM event for the {EVENT} placeholder.
Bound controls are the ones that you use to view or work with data in your tables or queries. Since theyre connected to the underlying data source, any changes you make in bound controls are reflected in the data source (assuming your data source is editable).
The appearance of a Form control can be changed by applying pre-defined or custom CSS classes. Each Form control has various properties that the CSS stylesheet can be applied to, including border, background, font, alignment, etc.
When a user enters a value into a data-bound control, such as an edit box bound to a string variable, the control passes the value into the controls bound variable. Similarly, if a data-bound controls variable has a value, the control displays that value. Controls that are not data-bound are static controls.
