Function.prototype.bind() The bind() method of Function instances creates a new function that, when called, calls this function with its this keyword set to the provided value, and a given sequence of arguments preceding any provided when the new function is called.
BIND is the de facto standard DNS server. It is a free software product and is distributed with most Unix and Linux platforms, where it is most often also referred to as named (name daemon). It is the most widely deployed DNS server.
As mentioned in the beginning of this article, BIND stands for Berkely Internet Name Domain.
BIND (Berkeley Internet Name Domain) is a software collection of tools including the worlds most widely used DNS (Domain Name System) server software.
This means that a computer has multiple IP addresses. By binding a socket (or a similar operating-system object) to an address, you tell the operating system which of the addresses of a computer shall be used together with this socket: Lets say a computer has two IP addresses: 192.168. 1.4 and 192.168. 2.9.
Bilirubin-induced neurologic dysfunction (BIND)
Though they are often used synonymously, BIND is the whole package. named is one of the parts of that package (but only one part.) BIND stands for Berkeley Internet Name Domain, is the most commonly used Domain Name System (DNS) server on the Internet. Named is the daemon used by BIND.
Security. BIND supports a number of different methods to protect the updating and transfer of zones, on both master and slave nameservers: DNSSEC Short for DNS SECurity, this feature allows for zones to be cryptographically signed with a zone key.
